Gerald Banks is the founder and Managing Partner of Cipher Technologies, an investment management group with offices in Greenwich, CT. Gerald was previously a Managing Director of Structured Products at Merrill Lynch as well as Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Since 2009 Gerald has been leading the strategy effort for Altpoint Capital Partners and subsequently for Cipher Technologies.

After graduating from Georgetown University, Michael has worked in investment banking in New York, hedge fund management in Japan, and subsequently venture capital funds in Japan and the US.
